Re-discovering our beautiful coastline has been one of the rare silver linings of the global pandemic. More and more Irish people have found joy, delight and companionship as they have joined the growing tribe of open-water swimmers. Sandycove in Dun Laoaghire  is a favourite spot for families and sea-swimmers all year round. “Beach Days” captures the golden sand and turquoise sea water on a  warm summer’s day before the pandemic when bathers of all ages could  pile together to enjoy the magic of beautiful Sandycove.

Ruth Moloney’s unique collection of seascapes and bathers capture the energy and fun that Irish bathers experience all year round at their favourite local swimming spots. Her vibrant colour palette and loose style reflects the movement and beauty of her subjects while each piece tells its own story.

Her fine art archival pigment prints are based on her original oil paintings which have been created using the impasto palette knife technique. Each print is mounted, framed and ready to hang. All prints are signed and titled by Ruth.
